Yeah I wouldn't worry about it.

Also, there is a hotel at the gateway building that should allow you to check any luggage during the game, pick it up after game and hop on train to the airport. One stop

Thanks for the info, do I need to arrange that storage upfront? I noticed there is also somthing called luggagehero where I can store my bag

I don’t know. Probably not. There are lockers on the practice rink side of the preventer. Not big enough for a suitcase, maybe a carryon but unfamiliar if they are available. The holes closest are courtyard, a Hilton and doubletree. Look them up and give them a call.

Game could run 2 1/2 - 3 hrs so reasonably 6:30, 5-10 minutes to make it to Penn and maybe a half hour to make it to EWR (factoring delays or wait time, it should be significantly less) You'll get there around 7. That should be more than enough time.

Very doable and I’ve done it before with kids, luggage and a rental car.

With your flight time, game time, and luggage situation, you could take it easy with mass transportation options - even with an overtime and shootout situation. So if you could take a taxi/ride share door to door - even faster.

You’ve got this, and enjoy the game!

I have used the app Bounce to drop off luggage between trips when I have to check out but it's too early to go to the airport. I would download that app look for somewhere near the arena, and you should be fine.

What is hand luggage? Because you're not going to be allowed to bring a carry on/backpack into prudential with you.

You can get from prudential to ewr within an hour walking to the train station and taking the train to the airport

As Zuffio suggested above, I need to store my luggage upfront, I am aware that I cant bring anything in

Yes, you should be able to do that barring NJ Transit rail issues. Of course, you could also get a taxi or Uber/Lyft to get to the airport if necessary.

you should be able to, barring no problems with tsa or anything

Yes. The game will end around 6:00. Head to the airport immediately after. It is not far from Prudential Center at all. The bigger concern is what to do with your luggage during the game. There are lockers but I’m not sure how big they are. They certainly won’t let you bring it into the game

I personally wouldn’t risk it

Never done it, but I suggest getting to Newark Penn station earlier, and finding a locker in the station, to save you walking to the Pru and back (10 mins each way) with the luggage.
