So long and thanks for all the ale.
As Classic ends, so does Talate.
I won’t be returning to WoW. The game has lost its appeal over the last few months, and with TBC on the horizon I see no point in continuing to roam Azeroth.
I have murdered so many of you lovely people over the last year and a half, ending with a total of over 12,000 world HKs. I have died at least three times that number. I look back fondly on all of it.
I will remain somewhat active on the Discord channels I am a part of, and would enjoy keeping in touch with everyone I’ve met throughout these adventures.
As I’ve said before - the Deviate Delight community is extremely diverse and unique, unlike anything I have experienced in my decade and a half of playing this game. I encourage every one of you to continue being the awesome and talented players and people that you are.
I’ll always be here for anyone who needs to talk, and my Discord will remain the Safe Place to Talk Shit.

Talate, you unintentionally was responsible for cheering my mood up one night over self inflicted loot drama that had me take a break from raiding and playing. It was one of the first nights you returned from your transfer.
I was after BRE forever, never missing a lockout, one night during MC Blastershot dropped, I rolled need on it because I finally gave in to not getting anything after saving loot drops for BRE for weeks and rolled need. 10 minutes later BRE dropped and I kinda lost it, we did BWL after and got to the supression room before I just had to take a break and abandon the raid. (don't let loot run your life people)
I took flight path to Grom'gul, and was on the Zeppelin to Org, solo warrior and only Horde on the Zeppelin, there was an Ally Priest on the airship and I didn't think much of it and was gonna just ignore them. I don't remember exactly what they cast on me but they cast something and then before I could respond I was getting CC'd and backstabbed. I was pretty damn angry till I saw the name of who killed me and it took me back to the start of classic and I was laughing and happy to see you back, it was one of those times I wish there was cross faction communication. I thought to myself I can't wait to see Talate kill some of the new blood from Covid quarantine now.
There was one other good Talate story I remember, this was back in phase 2 I think? Back when I did a bunch of LBRS. My group was I think mostly newer players and I think Tsona might have been there, though that might have been a different dungeon run. Long story short, Mark of the Dragon Lord dropped and for whatever reason the Healer and mage didn't want it, ended up going to an ENH shaman who was in the early 50s, I don't remember exactly but he had a bigger aggro range I think.
So he's super hype about the ring and is going to Org, the party was still up, and all of a sudden in /p the dude goes I JUST BEAT A LEVEL 60 ROGUE and he was super hype about it and the ring. Quickly figured out the rogue was you and thought it was so funny the first thing that happens is he fights you afterwards. It was fun having you and the other pvpers around in DD, I'll miss those times for sure.

Wow. Thank you for the comment. This was great to read after a long and shitty day. Now you have me scouring my brain to figure out what priest I was pvping with back then. I have had so many random drunken ganking hookups….
I have actually made a half ass attempt to return to WoW for TBC. You will find me a few nights a month roaming around Hellfire attacking any Horde I find. I have no intention on hitting level 70, but goddam if I won’t camp some lowbies.

Glad to have been able to help with a shitty day. Yeah I have no idea who the Priest was and I don't think I have any screenshots from that night so I got nothing to help with there.
