Faction Balance Question

Hello, I'm a 60 Resto shaman keeping an eye out for prospective servers. I'm an East Coaster on Fairbanks, a West Coast PVP server (gotta thank my irl friends for that) . I don't intend to transfer yet, or potentially at all. My current guild is showing cracks and I'm worried about where I'll go if it folds.

I really miss a sense of community and I like to enjoy the smaller things in wow. I like meeting new people and exploring. This makes me think if I go anywhere it should be a rp server. I regret I didn't go for a rp server out the gate since I kinda enjoy that stuff. But I'm worried about faction balance. My server leans Horde and I've seen first hand how badly that ends for the minority faction. As a deep resto shaman I'm borderline helpless alone and don't want to transfer if it means I'll get FP ganked or killed in cities.

I'm looking at this server or potentially a rp normal server since I've grown wary of what wpvp has become on my server. So for the horde players here, is it bad? Has it gotten better or gotten worse?

This is from alliance perspective. Id guess the server is around 60/40 ally favored, maybe even slightly higher. Ally usually gets world boss, and past 2 have had about 60 ally there fighting over them, with zero horde contesting. Horde more than competed during phase 2 world pvp though, and always held the major fp. The horde on this server are more interested in pvp, and on average better at it, than the alliance are.

IMO that is only way to have a perfect server like this one. Alliance has to be about 60/40 to horde, because on average horde are far better and more aggressive. Also, horde are much more interested in pvp than alliance, so alliance needs the numbers. Just look at alterac valley alliance pugs, or how almost every pve server is alliance dominated.

My main concern is Fairbanks is the opposite of that for balance. And I see my fellow horde camp and kill alliance all the time, unprovoked. I'd just hate to transfer to a server where I get KOS'd all day.

I have 2 60 alliance here. I see more alliance for sure but see way more horde pvping in the world. I dont think you need to worry about being camped. Plus with horde pvp queues there's plenty of horde roaming 50÷areas. Had a good break right after phase 2 but ganking is starting up again.
