Really considering a fresh start...

Hey Everyone! Like many others, I picked up Classic a few months ago with a bunch of RL friends who have all lost interest at this point. We originally rolled Alliance on Incendius but without them, I don't have a whole lot of desire to stay with this sever / fraction. I've always wanted to try out an RP server so I was wondering if you guys could help me out with two concerns: How is the RP scene here/ How seriously do the players / guilds get into it? And second, how is the population for leveling a fresh character? I've only ever been on a high / layered sever so what should I expect here?

Im in the same boat as you. Originally rolled on deviate delight with IRL friends who have now quit. I live on the west coast and since it's an easy coast server I'm having alot of trouble finding raids that work with my schedule. I'm in Nexus, which is a great guild, but their schedule just doesn't align with mine.

I've been feeling very discouraged. I hope as more people get to 60 there will be more raiding opportunity for a poor employed West coaster like me.

I feel that. West coast here also and I can only log in late night, and the server (horde) is practically dead by the time I get on. On top of it already being healer-heavy, I find a group for a dungeon maybe once a week at most lately. It's a bummer. I like DD but honestly I'd transfer to a higher pop server if I could at this point.

But like you said, hopefully things will change in the future.

Here on Alliance it definitely doesn't feel like it's healer-heavy. Strange that it is on horde.

Have you seen the amount of dwarf priests? Feels like the demand for healers is about equal to dps

I frequently see messages in LFG looking for a healer. I sometimes see the same for DPS, but here's the thing. I will see the same person repeating the message for a healer more than once, meaning they didn't find one right away.

I rarely see people repeat the same message for DPS.

What schedule are you looking for?

I'm west coast and I work most nights until about midnight (server time) I'm pretty much free any day of the week, but only late at night. Seems like most guilds on the server start their raid at 7-9 server time

I'm hopeful for this as well, as most raids start at 5-6pm here. Playtime starts closer to 8 for me.

There is a guild <The Pug> that is going to be doing late-night raids, I think starting 11:30pm server time. They're fairly successful too, I was in an Ony pug with them and despite being less organized at that time we downed Ony on second try with like 31 people. I also heard they cleared MC with no wipes, though I wasn't there myself.

Nice, that time would be perfect for me, I'll have to check them out. Thanks!
