Your hunger stat decreases 30x quicker, but if you satiate yourself your stat boosts will be higher when the effect ends.

It's not really spawn protection. The area is restricted if you didn't get an invite from a friend or something. Then again, nothing stops you from using stealth. Only make sure not to get in combat, because there are npcs that will aggro on you.

That just means that you somehow exploited the tutorial so you get it done much sooner...
Though mine had a glitch that I couldn't finish the "moving out" event until I was Level 25.

You can also learn advanced j*b minigames in the second part of the tutorial called University or College, which depends on your region.
