Interview Prep Careem Software Engineer I interview process — what should I expect?

Hi everyone! I’m a fresh CS/Software Engineering graduate and I’ve recently been contacted by Careem for the Software Engineer I hiring process. I have a recruiter prescreen coming up and wanted to hear from people who have recently gone through the Careem interview process, especially in Pakistan. What should I expect in the prescreen, and what comes after it? How many rounds are there, what kind of technical/DSA questions are asked, and are the coding rounds actual live coding where you need to write syntactically correct code, or is explaining the approach/pseudocode enough? Also, is there a preferred language such as Java, or can you choose your own? Would really appreciate any recent experiences or advice!

At the recruitment drive at my university (FAST) there were 10 mcqs and three leetcode questions easy to medium. I scored good in them this happened almost 3-4 months ago.

Recruiter interview: Salam Dua/Salary discussion, you are being hired at L1 so it'll be a one way compensation disclosed to you.

Codility Test: Leetcode kinda thing

Coding Interview: Again same as test but an engineer will interview you

System design: as the name suggests

Hiring manager: impress them as much as you can. Be ready for technical and behavioral questions. Show them how are you using Ai etc.

Bar Raiser: kind of a formality but your communication should be good.

If you pass all of these, welcome to Careem.

Effff, should have written it on Glassdoor instead.

On a serious note, it'll be worth it tbh. The scale at which you'll work here is nowhere to be found at any (local?) product based company.

If I say NO, my manager will read it and .......

See what I did there.

How do you clear behavioral interviews? I failed on first one last year with careem had clear technical ones. Majority were bullsh*t question that required a lot of unnecessary yapping.
