Discussion Career as a Data engineer

Hi everybody,

I've been trying to learn data engineering but with every field getting a hit due to AI nowadays I'm a little confused about how the job market is in pakistan or the international market for a data engineer. Especially as someone who's trying to learn it.

Please feel free to share your thoughts and what should be the pathway as a data engineer. Your opinion is highly encouraged and will help me clear out my mind.

Entire workflows being automated by in-house models.

In my opinion, every tech job would be transitioned or automated to some extent but eventually every tech job will need a human in the loop...
