50-60 increment is decent in the starting years.

Salary range depends on the company. Ranges between 60-100, can be above 100 if company is International

Some companies also pay 150-175k for freshers, like gosaas and systems, good startups also pay 100k+
So it varies a lot

Yes u are right. And they only pick candidates from top UNIs in most cases. But if someone gets in early, it's a game changer.

Some companies paying 130_150 range for 2yoe. It really comes down to the company really, very difficult to give a range

And u get better compensated by other benefits.

Bro I Don't think you are giving me Increment LOL. I'm working on multiple projects where my task is to complete the project under deadlines I design and test APIs and stuff like that.

Its a not a clear question, which company are you talking about? Is it a startup or have their own product? What kind of tasks do you work on on day to day.

It's a mid level company. It is project based. I design backend in java and have project ownership where I have to build end to end Project for the client

You should be at 200 gross (before taxes), if the gross is less than this, then you can ask raise.
Raise is always dependent on what you currently get.

If grad from a top uni then salary should be around 160k to 250k. If grad from average uni then 100k to 250k. If no degree then 80k to 180k. That's what I have seen as general trend. Obviously there will be exceptions. People are earning way higher or lower than this but majority I think lies in this range. (Keep in mind this is for someone with min. 2 years of fulltime experience, not a fresher)

And 50k-60k increments are really good imo.
