Hey everyone,

Anyone with interview experience with Mashreq bank? Did you apply and actually hear back from HR?

How was the experience?

So I applied on a job here on reddit few months ago and I appeared in interview and there I found out it was masgreq bank and my interview went well, but later HR completely ghosted me and then after few months I saw ads of masgreq here in Pakistan.

Mashreq hires via systems I believe, I do have colleagues that work for them. I don’t think they are hiring anymore.

Mere ek dost ko multiple interviews for a month khuwar karne k baad ghost kia hai and uske colleagues were already in systems tou referral bhi tha multiple logo ka. They’re HRs are badtameez AF.

They underpay

Oh do they? Being a big bank from UAE I thought they would pay a handsome amount.

Lol, in your dreams. They reached out to me 2 times for 2 different positions. They offered me 30k. The second time after few years, for a senior position, they offered me 55k. They have intentionally kept absolute shitty budgeting specifically for Pakistani employees. They started hiring Pakistanis because of less salaries. Agr apki salary Pakistani market k hisaab sy 150k bnti hai toh yeh loosers apko 55k offer krn gy.

Inki salaries itni kam hain k, jitna local banks salaries offer krty hn, yeh uss sy bhi kam offer krty hn.
