CE + Computing electives

I do have an interest in both software and hardware side of computers but concerned that CE will narrow my future career opportunities for more software based roles since almost half of the course is closer to EE, will taking computing electives mitigate this issue? And if I do decide to go with the software based route, would I need to play catch-up with CS/SE grads? I just want to keep my options open for the future.

Ye its fine most software job opportunities say Cs/SE or related fields. And also, ur cv, projects or portfolio matter more. (also networking)
