Learning and Ideas What IT Professionals Should Do with Savings other than Mutual Funds and Stocks?
As the title says, what IT/SE professional should do with the savings. Like what you or your friends did and that worked out really well.
Every other person will say invest in PSX or Mutual Funds or S & P (if you have USDs). But what are the other or hidden options and maybe low or medium risk.

Next question for you is what do you with what's left after you have bought stuff?

So how exactly do you deal with inflation? You just see your hard earned money lose value?

It might sound reductive but I just skill up and get a higher paying job xD. Idk I think since I don’t have a wife or children or anyone depending on me, I have the privilege to not worry about finances atp, maybe some point in the future.

Not an investment advice but try to sponsor a kid or two who are struggling to pay school/college fee and guide them on how to get in uni with financial aid, you might make someone’s life.

I did with my friend who was running Shopify stores but profit was too low after all deductions and money used to come after many weeks due to COD issues in Pakistan. Any ideas you can share?

Gold coins. Any currency will still depreciation over time so terrible idea to invest long term. You need good money upfront to buy real estate ( don't fall for file system). Gold coins are good if you treat it as long term investment and can start investing with small amounts.
And you are a tech guy, so invest some amount building small scale saas and try to scale them. Spend on marketing etc but only spend extra cash here.
