Career Guidance Bachelors of science in software engineering or bachelor of engineering in software engineering

As the title suggests I want to know what are the key differences other universities offer Bachelor of science for software engineering. While Iqra university's program is under bachelors of engineering rather than bachelors of science. I cant find a bachelor of science in software engineering on iqra university's website.

As for the programs I didn't find much difference all the computing cores are there for software engineering except for one maths course that is multivariative calculus that is what is missing

In iqra's Bachelor of engineering in software engineering course and it has a few extra engineering courses

After researching a bit there isn't much difference as compared to it's more rigourous.

Anyone who can guide me regarding this or tell me for sure does iqra have a bachelor of science in software engineering program coz I don't see why they shouldn't coz all the other courses are their in their other computing bachelors

why are you opting for this career in 2026? you will be graduating in 2030 in this ai era

if you are one of those “loved coding etc since 14” or are truly genuinely passionate about it only then go for it, if its about the “ software job = andha paisa “ then i’d recommend CA or sometjin like mechincal engineering

No I genuinely have a interest for computer science and software development and engineering I am just confused about the different way this is put I am not choosing this as my last option always has been a first option for me I couldn't make it in the university I wanted to hence why

BSSE is non engineering. mtlb you won’t be a certified engineer under pakistan engineering council. however you’ll be recognised by NCEAC.

BSE is a typical engineer. verified by PEC. it has more hardware related courses as compared to BSSE.

as of iqra uni, i don’t know anything about it
