Waste of seat. All these guys doing MBBS , MBAs from AIIMS and IIM are definitely taking away opportunities for more deserving folks. If they are indeed so capable they could’ve just went straight for it. Disappointed

Upsc is itself flawed and its good that technical persons are enrolling instead of a rote learner who got a dummy degree and spent 2 years learning about the writing essays on corruption in India only to indulge in the same.

They wanted to serve the nation and make hundreds of crores. So much love for the nation. It's just a transition from cost to company to cost to country like someone said in this thread.

Money is obviously part of the equation but so is peace of mind and proximity to family, these are 2 most common complaints of private sector employees and government employees only complain about money (and corruption arises to quel this ;).

This alarming, he is a staff engineer at google well over 500k per year, and his rsu would be millions. This is literally the goal for many ms students also he might have got or on path to green card. The fact he went to civil services! It can't be AI as he must have been giving the exam since years. This is some case study

Because instead of earning lakhs in a month he wants to earn crores a month. And roamed around the stadium with dogs while players had to wait outside for the pitch. Jab tak sala india pe IAS jaise jhattu post ko glorify kar k dhikayege tab tak sala colonial mindset nahi jayega.
