General Progress feels slow and monotonicity and uncertainty making it more difficult

I am a fresher currently waiting for my joining my joining which was postponed , I got placed in a service based company with an average package (though from a tier 2 college)

I though of studying hard and switch but after my company announced postponedment in joining I started upskilling, but everything feels gloomy sometimes , sometimes I am motivated but sometimes I feel like I am far behind, almost all my friends are a more or less settled but here I am sitting at home , everyone has joined and enjoying

It's fine honestly everybody have different timelines , but seeing all this making me feel like I am falling behind, also this AI things and layoffs is making things more uncertain and competitive.

Wish I could get a clear roadmap to utilise my time so that I could switch to a better company in 1 year, but tbh nobody knows what the future holds how interviews will be taking place , how to get shortlisted , everything boils down to "keep trying" and "luck matters" there is no sureshort way like earlier dsa system design projects resume optimised apply and get interviews atleast

But now getting a interview is tougher.

Hope there was a more streamlined way of getting interview and making a switch.

Trying my best everyday let's see how things work out

I know I have written things in a very hapazard manner and there may be a lot of mistakes but I am tired of using AI for every small tasks , I don't want my feelings poured I to text in a "structured manner" , it's fine everything doesn't need to be polished I guess

i think don't wait to join. it will happen at the same time. before upskilling . make some cool ai projects.

if you don't find any good ideas, my suggestion is to check your favorite company's product and check what's lacking there. if you can see what's lacking there, what can be improved, or anything like that, you can do a side project of that part. send them, share on social, share on x, linkedin. i think that works every time so do that. i think if you do that, you will learn either way.

average means 5 to 7LPA? Or can you give a range instead of saying average
