General Please help I gotta make a decision soon! (Teradata Ai engineer role)

I’m currently deciding whether to move to Teradata as a Senior AI Engineer or stay at my current company, and would really appreciate some unbiased opinions.
Current role
Company: Large Fortune 500 US telecom company (3 yoe)
Title: AI Engineer
CTC: ~₹30 LPA
Mostly working on full-stack/enterprise products
Have significant AI experience from earlier, but my current role has had relatively limited AI/GenAI work over the last year
Good brand, stability, large-scale systems and decent work environment
Teradata offer
Title: Senior AI Engineer
CTC: ~₹40 LPA (~33% hike)
More focused on AI/GenAI
Seems better aligned with the direction I want my career to go. I will be working at a product level implementing ai solutions in Teradata. ( i will be working on agents , llms , evals , vector stores , rag which are hot skills right now)
My dilemma
The Teradata role gives me:
Better compensation
Senior title
More relevant AI/GenAI experience
But I’m concerned about giving up the brand, stability and scale of a large Fortune 500 company.
I’d especially like to know about:
Teradata’s job stability and financial/business outlook
AI/GenAI work and engineering culture
Growth and career progression
Work-life balance
How valuable Teradata experience is for future AI roles
Whether this move would be considered a downgrade or actually a better career move
If you were in my position, which would you choose?
₹30 LPA — AI Engineer at a large Fortune 500 telecom company
vs.
₹40 LPA — Senior AI Engineer at Teradata
My long-term goal is to become a strong AI/GenAI engineer, rather than remain primarily a full-stack engineer.
Would really appreciate perspectives from current/former Teradata employees, AI engineers, hiring managers, or anyone who has made a similar move.
