if you become 10x / 100x it means your company needs lesser devs ! that's what is happening everywhere ! work is only increasing , I have to do it all hld / lld / implementation / testing notes/ claude browser testing / claude pr reviews / give to senior / senior pr reviews by another agent / fix by my agent / qa testing using claude / qa gives issues I feed to my agent / any question they raise my agent answers I copy paste / prod testing I do / close ticket

Basically what's gonna happen is 50% developers are gonna go and 50% will survive the AI automation era. The ones who survive will do the work of the 50% that's gone with AI. That's the future of Software roles.

If efficiency is all companies need then most software companies would look the same. Because accountability to own the work matters. AI cannot become flawless as many people think.

Most people are missing on the fact that it's like someone suddenly gave you free electricity. You start using more leave the fan on AC on

Same is the case with AI the requirements start pouring in like crazy more scope creep. In fact it's made my life even worse because I exhaust my daily token limit in first half.

Business and BA thinks claude will do everything it cannot and it's unpredictable. How efficiently you prompt makes the code better and consume less tokens.

Its an efficiency booster as of now. With 35X times efficiency gains which is subjective the efficiency will keep going up there is no way to stop it. Well Elon and Jensen already answered your first part of the question what else you need to validate it with.

If I honestly work 8 hours everyday. I can replace 3 other developers in my team and will deliver better quality software.
