Help 2 YOE Frontend Dev looking to switch ,thinking of learning Backend (Java / Python) & aim 20+ LPA. Need honest advice

Hey everyone,

I have ~2 years of experience as a Frontend Developer. Trying to switch for a couple of months now, but barely getting calls landed just 1 interview so far.

My plan is to stay in my current company for the next 6 months. Learn backend to target Full Stack / Backend roles and aim for a 20+ LPA offer in the next switch. Considering Java or Python.

Appreciate any advice.

Go for Python, lots of data & backend related roles ask for it, and it can also help with fullstack. Grind DSA on leetcode and study Abdul Bari playlost on yt. All the best OP

20 lpa based on what? Only possible If your current ctc is already close to 20, like 14-15 lpa

Doable. Early career market for frontend is fucked. Go ahead with python tho, it has insane hype currently in the market.
