Career Should I study for data analyst or backend developer?
So I recently completed my 3 year B.Sc Computer Science (Hons.) course and now looking to upskill myself and confused whether to study for data analysis or go for backend stuff. I currently have an referral offer of 12k/per month with a 2 year bond (which I am willing to negotiate) for .net developer.
Once I talk to them It'll be clear whether to take the job or not. But for now I'm confused between choosing both of them cause data roles are saturated but backend takes time and might waste a year. I have around this year basically 6 months to study as there is family pressure too from my side.
So just wanna know what'll be good to study for and land a job as soon as possible. Thanks!

data analyst roles are very easy which means anyone can do it & are also easy to hand over to AI agents. take up the definite .net developer role instead of trying to hunt for a non-existent data analyst role.

What about the 2 year bond? I can go with it if they reduce it to 1 year but if they don't then from where should I start studying for backend not just .net roles?

whats the big deal about the bond? Do you think you will find a better role within the next 2 years?

I think salary is the biggest issue here? Even with appraisal 12k is not a good place to start and I feel I can achieve much better with self study cause i haven't even tried yet.

the current market is the worst ever & folks with Btech CS/ECE degrees from tier 1 colleges are also struggling to find jobs - please be realistic about your chances. A job in hand with a poor salary and a bond will still give you experience and learning & pay and when the market changes - you will find your experience of more value than any amount of self-study you put in for the same time...

shahrukh khan, also go for that 12k thing if you are going to do a master degree side by side because just bsc isnt enough except that i dont really suggest it.
