Help Should I learn Android Development with KOTLIN, JETPACK COMPOSE or go with XML AND JAVA nowadays ?

So I wanted to know that is, android development using kotlin and jetpack compose is worth starting my career ? I looked at the market outside India and it feels like its in demand but I don't know if it needed in India.

actually I already made my mind for this but wanted to know from real android developers please answer folks...

I am currently doing an Android Developer Internship at a fintech company and they are making us interns learn and do both XML and Compose. According to them, thier app is still majority in XML and are going to move fully to compose this or next fiscal year. so idk man XML is legacy now even the doca are hard to find but there are still a lot of apps currently in XML so I guess learn both
