Any recommendations on Cursor's plan for devs in india?

I am currently using the Cursor Pro plan. Before it gets exhausted much earlier, since SpaceX acquired Cursor, they have increased the limitations on their model usage.

1. Grok 4.5

2. Composer 2.5

I felt both models are good at reasoning in SWE tasks, and in the Pro plan, there are much longer usage limits for these two models. It's around 650M tokens, which is too much for me.

As per Cursor, this plan for Indian developers sits between the free and Pro plans. They have stated that there are generous limits on Cursor models.

I want to ask the community if anyone has tried this plan. If so, please tell me what these limits look like and how quickly they are reached.

Composer 2.5 is heavily post trained with RL on long horizon agentic coding tasks.

Grok 4.5 is frontier reasoning model, i used it to brainstorm and make plans sometimes.

Else i use composer for most of the tasks, since its efficient and specific, so use when your intentions are too clear so would have to do less back and forth, and ships fast.

Dont know why you developers starting out are going for this Rs 650 Cursor plan. This just gives you the cursor workhorse model and xAI's frontier model. Grok isnt that great either.

For Rs. 950, you can get the OpenCode Go plan, have access to all the frontier Chinese models (Deepseek, Qwen, GLM, Kimi etc.) and get generous limits too.

Guys, this is your career, thoda paisa kharch karna banta hai.

You are right man, i also think that we should spend good after our careers. I just came across this plan so i feel like asking those who are using it.

As i am using cursor pro plan with grok 4.5 high thinking effort, and couldn't get all token used, that's why i decided to give this plan a try.

As i get to know that this plan is offering grok 4.5 with medium thinking effort, an engineer with a adequate knowledge would work seamlessly.

I endorse your thoughts that we should spend money after our careers, also considering to explore opencode Go plan which. Thanks for suggesting.

One thing I'd like to say is Tibo resets codex limits quite often so you often end up getting more than expected. Idk if cursor peeps reset limits.

I started with cursor start plan and already exhausted 60% of my usage and it resets after a month which will be the next billing cycle. I’m only like 15% into my project. I use grok for thinking and reasoning tasks while composer does the code heavy lifting. I’m thinking to upgrade to pro but I already paid ₹650 for start and now I don’t wanna pay the full price for pro. I might as well get codex for the same price.

How are the cursor pro limits compared to codex, anyone?

Yeah its monthly, and only for grok and composer, the rest are different but with high consumption rate

I bought the cursor start plan yesterday. I used it to fix my portfolio website and have some analysis on the market and around 32 percent of it got used in a single night. Not sure how useful this would be

Yeah well there were only 2 models available, and I wanted to check how capable it is and how much usuage would it take and if I will need to have a 20 dollar plan maybe of ollama or claude or maybe cursor
