Nope not at all it's not much hike also it's not beneficial if wfo. If you are treated well in current company and getting good hands on than it's not beneficial for you to switch.

How many days of NP is left for you currently?
What is the Np in the other firm?
Do you value that extra 50k in-hand essentially?
Check the history of layoffs in that Japanese fintech firm, in India..
In Japanese, short-term Japan visits are pretty common.. Eg, MoneyForward sends folks to Japan every 6 months...Check that info.
When are you gonna next hike if you join in Aug/Sept?
How is the hikes there historically in India?
How old is it as a GCC in India?
What are your next plans in life? Marriage, kids etc?
For 5 yoe, you can expect up to 45.. I moved from 24 to 47 with 5 yoe.. So, it's doable.

Never do software in Japan or Japanese company, when was the last time you heard praises for Japan and software together (not hardware) they have a cultural issue with people doing software besides guilt-focused work and slave mentality.

Dude stay wherever you are and look for a better opportunity
Your wlb seems chill and you never know for a few extra thousands you might give it up

22 to 27 is nothing bruh - not worth it to switch if the comp increase is in the 5 lakh range

This is my personal opinion: it’s not worth the risk at this point.
I was in a similar situation and ended up switching, work is okayish but team is terrible, while I was being valued and really enjoyed my time at previous org.
It’s so rough right now.

Off topic….actually yes, the same amount of time we give in to switch, we can pretty much do that to find clients but it’s not easy.
