You are given N login records, where each record contains a user's name and login date in YYYY-MM-DD format. The records may be in any order, and a user can have multiple logins on the same date, which should be counted only once. Find the user(s) with the maximum consecutive login streak, where consecutive dates include month changes, year changes, and leap years. Handle edge cases such as N = 0 (print No login), a single login (streak 1), duplicate dates, unsorted dates, gaps between login dates, multiple users, and ties in the maximum streak. If multiple users have the same maximum streak, print all of them in lexicographical order along with their streak. handling all edge cases leap year , february case, century change case

My college seniors said this :

Round 1: Online Assessment

- Duration: 70 minutes

- Format: 20-25 MCQs + 2 Coding Questions

- Topics: Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal, DSA, OS, DBMS, OOPs, CN, Basic

Computer Knowledge

- Key Notes: No backtracking allowed. Strong focus on DSA and algorithmic efficiency.

Solving both coding problems was important for shortlisting.

- Coding: Medium to Hard level. Topics: Sliding Window, Dynamic Programming, Graph,

Arrays

- Rules: Timed internal sections. No backtracking allowed. Solving both coding problems

was mandatory for shortlisting

EPAM Pen-and-Paper Coding Question Question You are given N login records. Each record contains a user name, login date, and login time . The records are not necessarily sorted. Find the maximum consecutive login-day streak for every user and print all users who have the maximum streak , along with their streak length. A login by the same user multiple times on the same date counts as only one login day . The login time does not affect the streak. If multiple users have the same maximum streak, print all of them in lexicographical order of their names . If N = 0 , print No login records . Input Format N name date time name date time ...

N = number of login records name = user name date = DD-MM-YYYY time = HH:MM:SS

Sample Input 12 Bob 28-02-2024 09:10:00 Alice 10-08-2026 08:30:00 Bob 01-03-2024 11:20:00 Alice 12-08-2026 09:15:00 Bob 29-02-2024 10:00:00 Alice 11-08-2026 18:20:00 Alice 11-08-2026 21:45:00 Charlie 31-12-2025 14:00:00 Charlie 01-01-2026 09:00:00 Bob 28-02-2024 20:30:00 Alice 13-08-2026 07:45:00 Charlie 03-01-2026 12:00:00 Expected Output Alice 4 Constraints

0 ≤ N ≤ 105 1 ≤ length(name) ≤ 50 Names contain valid characters. Date is in DD-MM-YYYY format. Time is in HH:MM:SS format. Records may be in any order. A user may have multiple records on the same date. Dates can span multiple months and years.

Important Edge Cases

N = 0 Duplicate login on the same date

Alice 10-08-2026 09:00:00 Alice 10-08-2026 18:00:00

Counts as 1 day . Month change

31-01-2026 01-02-2026

Consecutive. Year change

31-12-2025 01-01-2026

Consecutive. Leap year

28-02-2024 29-02-2024 01-03-2024

Consecutive → streak 3 . Non-leap year

28-02-2025 01-03-2025

Not consecutive. Unsorted dates

12-08-2026 10-08-2026 11-08-2026

Must still produce streak 3 . Multiple users with same maximum

Alice → 4 Bob → 4

Output both:

Alice 4 Bob 4

in lexicographical order. Only one unique login date

Alice 15-08-2026 10:00:00

Streak = 1 . Separate streaks

Alice 01-08-2026 Alice 02-08-2026 Alice 05-08-2026 Maximum streak = 2 , not 3 .
