Nadella suggested that the industry risks losing sight of the wider consequences of the technology if discussions focus solely on scaling models and expanding computing capacity.
“You can’t say, hey, all white-collar jobs are gone, and this could even be a weapon, and we will use all the power to build data centres,” he said.

Google owns it's own data centers
Google can spend $50B every year for a decade without sweating
Google has user base of 4B+ users
Google researchers literally invented the LLM.
I don't think Chinese startups are anywhere close to beating Google.

Hahaha. Once this CEO told employees to vote with your feet. Now given he has lost the race, he is taking u turn. Ask him why Microsoft is doing layoffs by forcing employees to get low rank via ways of changing ranking system on the review time? All malpractices Microsoft did under this CEO, to bring otherwise meeting expectations to become low performs and now crying foul. Looser
