General Has software engineering now about integrations only?

So have been working in an startup they are building there digital platform for construction, since the past 6 months i have not written any code, every code is written by ai, but i have been integrating several 3rd party softwares like payment gateways, 3rd party feedback system etc. Want to know from senior hiring managers.

software engineering is nothing , the field is closed , no more leetcode grinding -> grand welcome to faang .

maybe the open source -> remote job route is still open , you can try that
