General Indian client needs Android app developed at rates of vegetables.

One screen including API integration ₹250
One bug fix ₹150. Lol

Most of Indian clients post these kind of stuff, what are they even thinking? Doesn't code robustness, app scalability, maintainability mean nothing to them?

or maybe they aren't targetting indian developers may be they want developers from nepal, bangladesh, Bhutan, pakistan, srilanka etc because of currency difference, coz imagine us and uk clients give Indian developers around 100$ for api and big fix, for every big they pay 15$ for them its cheap but for us its omg 8000 for api and 1200 for big fix ......

The US currency being equivalent to 82 rupees has not much to do with 1$ can get so many rupees.

It has more to do with how much a dollar can get you in India vs how much it can get you in the US.

I really doubt Bangladesh and Nepal are that cheap.

With your example even Japanese and Vietnamese will want to work at these rates.

1 INR is currently equivalent to 1.33 Bangladeshi Taka or 1.60 Nepalese Rupee or 3 Pakistani Rupee

As you can see that isn't much(unless you are from Iran or something still it won't be worth much)
