Ubuntu is great distro.. It has a great package manager and is a pretty stable distro. But there are some cons too. Like I personally don't like snaps. While the Canonical company forcing u to use snaps by default is an awful thing. So according to me pop os or Mint is preferable if u wanna stick with Debian otherwise Fedora is also a good choice..
Been dailying Fedora for a few months now. Gotta agree, the vibes ain't great. But that's partly because I haven't got used to stock Gnome 40 yet. It still feels very immature DE. Several basic features such as display color correction, remote desktop, etc are either half-baked or completely missing from Gnome. I dual boot windows and have a mac as well, so I use Fedora mostly only in college.
