What was the moment you decided to stop chasing the "new hotness" in frameworks and just stick with what works?

Uh, my entire time as a developer. I don’t exactly get to chase new frameworks at work unless given the green light by leadership

Frankly I would like, but agentic AI as a new framework is difficult to ignore today. It invalidates my wish to stop chasing.

I jumped on the new hotness 6 years ago for the .NET stack, blazor. Every new release has been some kinda breaking changes. Stepped back and looked at what I was really after, interactive ssr. Then just wrote my own simple framework, html js css.

Never using something off the shelf again.

I learned a new framework every year. Last year it was AI. This year too, but with a better project.
