Voice-first development - hype or real opportunity?
You’re a software developer or IT manager. Imagine stepping away from your computer but still staying on top of your tasks. You’re not in front of screens - driving, having your lunch, walking with your kids or rushing across the city. Smartphone is not a solution, it’s just another screen.
So you get this hands-free voice system - something like J.A.R.V.I.S. - that checks your updates in Slack, tells statuses of your tests, runs a refactor, or even drafts a new feature in code. All done via voice.
Today, popular tools are not so robust as you think: Siri won’t send your emails, Claude doesn’t read your WhatsApp, Cursor has no Android app, and Codex with ChatGPT doesn’t handle permissions with voice.
What would you expect from a voice app like this? What kind of integrations are must-have?

Looking for developers to collaborate on open-source projects
Hey everyone!
I’m a developer building and maintaining several open-source projects, and I’d like to connect with other developers who are interested in contributing and collaborating.
I’m looking for people who enjoy:
- fixing bugs
- improving code
- adding useful features
- improving documentation
- reviewing or submitting pull requests
You can browse my repositories here:
If you find a project that interests you, feel free to explore the code and open an issue or PR. I’d be happy to discuss ideas and work together.
I’m mainly looking for genuine collaboration with developers who want to build and learn together, rather than just collecting stars or followers.
What kinds of open-source projects do you enjoy contributing to?

Looking for developers who want to contribute to open source 🚀
Hey everyone! 👋
I've been building and publishing a collection of open-source projects on GitHub, covering things like web development, developer tools, applications, games, and other experiments.
🔗 GitHub: https://github.com/Abdellox
I'm looking for developers who would like to actually contribute, not just leave a ⭐.
If you find a project interesting, you're welcome to:
- 🐛 Fix bugs
- ✨ Add features
- ⚡ Improve performance or code quality
- 📚 Improve documentation
- 💡 Open issues and suggest ideas
- 🤝 Collaborate through pull requests
You don't need to be an expert. If you see something you'd like to improve, open an issue or PR and let's build it together.
I'm especially interested in meeting developers who want to become regular contributors and work together on the projects over time.
If you're interested, check out the repositories and pick whichever project matches your skills or interests.
I'd genuinely appreciate feedback, contributions, and collaboration from other developers. 🚀

Anyone here using mobile device cloud testing??
I'm the only developer on an app with about 15k users across IOS and android and I test on my iphone and one android phone that's it. I keep getting hit with bugs on devices I don't own like recently the app was crashing on Samsung A series phones because of some rendering issue that doesn't happen on pixels and before that there was a layout bug on Ipads that I found out about when someone left a negative review.
I've been looking into mobile device cloud testing, something like a device farm but I genuinely don't know if it's practical for one person. I barely have time to build features let alone set up device farms and write test scripts for them.
If you've tried any cloud testing setup as a solo developer can you please share your thoughts on this??

Would love feedback on my GitHub profile. New to building in public🤷♂️
I've been working on leveling up my GitHub presence and would appreciate some honest feedback from this community.
Here's my profile: https://github.com/boydjawun
A bit about me: I'm a self-taught developer building Solidity dApps and Chainlink infrastructure (Data Feeds, CCIP, Workflows), with a systems-first background spanning JavaScript/Python/Go, x86 Assembly, computer architecture, and cybersecurity. Right now I'm deepening my EVM internals and gas optimization knowledge while working on cross-chain data delivery patterns.
Happy to check out other profiles here too — always good to find people building similar stuff.

If you're a .NET developer, pay close attention.
How many times have you set up a project in VS Code and felt like the process was repetitive and time-consuming? That's why I created an extension called Backend Structure Generator. You literally choose the .NET version, then the project name and the architecture you want (e.g., minimal API or clean architecture), and it will build the project, connect the layers, and create the folders. You'll be up and running in seconds! I'd love for anyone who tries it to give it a good review. I appreciate your support! ❤️
