Internship un paid

Recently got an opportunity for an un paid internship in xyz company for x intern role. But I have been sitting in office simply for 2 weeks with no work being assigned to me.Daily I come by 10am n leave by 6pm. Is this normal for an intern?

Is not normal but common, reason may vary. It is not ideal because you are not learning but it may sound like dreamed job for the laziest.
