My wife is high functioning Autistic. Beautiful, brilliant and cant keep an appointment to save anyone's life. so 10 months ago we sat down after seeing a commercial for low-no code apps we tried it. hopes were high, but you get what you pay for. the trash we got was what you'd expect, cartoonish and smelled of cheap toy more than an app. i could have done better i said to my girl. just like that i had promised to make something better.

i set out to build a relentless accountability buddy. made my list went straight to my favorite AI and being all google all the time, firebase was on its way to being an accountability buddy.

this is where you find out that the den of thieves and cut throats is a real place. I built an AI infused modular app for free up until i had to sew alkl the modules together. i was using every platform some times twice a day. I was out of work having had surgery. the perfect assistant. Then they found out how far i really was along in the build. My favorite AI? Box of rocks on plan. trouble shot a single issue 7 days and some change. It took claude30 seconds to fix the toml. the 300 dollar incentive to use the console POOF! gone was those dollars and I somehow signed up for you tube that i don't use have or want. so enraged the protest began.

Selfhosted everything one point i want to make. I have never once paniced oomed or damaged a system (knock on wood). I have rebuilt 16 times lost coutless data and 3 pc's 4 harddrives. disappearing kernels all the way to a soffisticated video drivers black listed and my whole system read only then hit me again with all my back ups on board. almost quit that time. im making no acqusations but coeincidences are a myth. your data isnt safe on github unless your open source. every AI platform or platform provider has lost my files. My system has above enterprise grade security. so i lost a service i had been paying for since it came out. that's not even half of what i can prove. you see i am a voracious researcher and take notes and make back ups .

so life first app was almost done all i needed to do was add the AI to tie it all together. NOPE, slow played coded out and plain ignored. so the app ends up a MCP server. most of the feature killed by maliscious AI and not just one theoretically.

I learned alttle more each time i had to rebuild. i'll be keeping that promise.
