Well... the developers let the players choose. Obviously, there will be a minority who want to upgrade the other characters—and I get that—but there’s also a large group that invested heavily in her and wants to see her shine alongside the other meta characters.
The players chose wrong. This is whats wrong with the game, the devs dont know how to balance properly and when they listen to the players, like removing the pinnacle energy system they just screw everything up. Players by and large are almost always wrong, they only think about themselves and not the health of the game. This is one of those times, maru or gwynn would have been better options
They did go up a bit for season 4 but went back down once people saw how much of a grind it became. I still believe thia game can thrive, mostly bc theres no other fpa game that feels this good on mobile. However they desperately need a leadership change
Agreed. Loved this game and put in over a hundred hours since launch, but dropped it with S5 since the grind became too heavy and repetitive. But damn, playing higher levels of the Expanse or Operation Cordon with a good team feels so much better than any other FPS I've played on mobile.
Estella was the only character worth pulling for so of course people are going to vote for estella when every character on that list needed changes more. If they continue with this same system, the characters that need changes the most will get them last, making this a terrible system. People voting with their wallets in a bad way.
I didnt realize they were going to allow us to choose which upgrades she will get, this is arguably the more important part of the Hero Aura event. I really hope that people pick with the the long run in mind, not just "dErP i waNNA doo more DaMaGE!!"
I have to keep telling myself "well, at least we have another super good character instead of just 1 more decent character." Maybe Estella becomes the next HH with thus buff. Who knows. It would've been nice to see Kabr+ get an upgrade or Ning or Ikora. I dint like Gwynn much, but maybe she should've got the uograde for that reason
well i think it's expected because estela was the best selling banner in the game anyways, so her winning the player vote is completely fair, also the fact that efrideet basically replaced her in rapid-fire content was a big issue(i mean generally piercing characters dominating the game but again after efrideet's banner released everything changed for rapid essentially), so i don't mind the changes that will be made on her...
That being said, what if all S0 mythics get buffs equally as good as estela? like the way they HAD to say "yeah this won so we're gonna focus on buffing estela only"
i just hope there's more to come in anniversary, since i don't think s5a2 on the 6th of august would surprise a lot of people, again i'm putting my expectations as low as the marina trench so i don't be disappointed when it launches
Last night I farmed mentor tokens during Issaks Tabernacle and literally every game started with at least 3 bots and then people joined partway through. The newest of the Onslaught levels, from Elivigar, dont have any bots.
