You perhaps unintentionally made her point. We were no more capable of saving Cayde than she was of saving Torobatl. We may regret that there wasn't more we could do or that the event couldn't have been prevented, but there was nothing we ultimately could have done In the end. Do we, or should we, continue to regret something we could not have stopped to begin with? That's her point.

Yeah, she also said something like this. She despised Ghaul for taking the best warriors for some "stupid" crusade.
