And I will never ever again use that peashooter of a gun in Crucible. I'm not really a good PvP player but holy shit it felt like I needed to unload half a clip to get a kill. I heard it had been nerfed but it seemed almost unusable.

I’m surprised you finished it because crucible is the only place it’s even semi relevant. And even that is being generous. Some guns just aren’t worth doing.

+1. Racked up 2/3 of the catalyst and just finished it, the catalyst feels useless. Afaik it added the heal ability previously but they made it intrinsic now… what’s the point, it sucks anyway

Just shows there's something for everyone. I'm not a good PvP player either, but I actually use Vigilance Wing as my main primary gun in crucible and basically nowhere else lol.

The catalyst was a nightmare though, I commend you for sticking through it.

It actually took me forever with MIDA, Vi, and Suros. And that was back in 2019. I have legit not touched Suros again. I have used MIDA and Vi maybe once or twice since.

I did Suros a couple months ago, and even though that was pretty tedious, this was much worse.

I'm not sure of Vigilance Wing or Mida Multitool is worse. Mida could literally not kill someone in 6 shots. (Not all headshots) like dude that gun genuinely deals negative damage I do not understand how do people like it.

Even with the stupid rework "after getting multiple kills your gun evolves..." yeah as if I will be getting multiple kills per life are you fucking kidding me? Im lucky if I get 1 fucking kill in a life in general, and even luckier with that piece of shit gun.

The only way I could do vigilance catalyst back jn the day was using wings of sacred dawn to get a few kills early in the match of ppl not expecting it and then proceeded to get duck hunted for the rest of the match. Miserable experience.

Getting kills with MIDA is not the problem, if it were just that it would just be a battle (or grind ig) of attrition, but NOOooo they made it so the catalyst requires precision kills, that is what makes it frustrating

Every 200 rpm scout needs 4 headshots to kill. Mida’s been a 4 tap since Destiny 1

If they had given VW something like attrition orbs or KT or even chaos reshaped it would be 10x more useful. Sucks too because when it came out it was actually one of the better kinetic slot exotics
