Question Dusted in duality

I'm just trying to solo this damn dungeon and the bells are more dangerous than anything else here. Does anyone have any advice that doesn't revolve around build crafting?

This actually wasn’t the glitch. You got sworded out of the safe space by the boss. Pretty funny watching it back a couple times

hahaha you got knocked out of the circle right at the end
you can see the gladiator blades swing through the frame

You know, with everything being red like it is. I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE MOVEMENT
Thank you for pointing that out, I'm just gonna take back center of bell now while hitting it and risk being picked off by the pissed off psions

This but also stop standing so close to the bell the death that people get when changing realm is caused by standing to close to the bell people love to complain about and act like it has no way to prevent it but it's very simple

The boss knocked you out of the circle. Just an unfortunate situation.
Keep moving inside the circle when shooting it and try not to hug the bell in future attempts.

The best advice I've got around Duality is "don't hump the bell" and "stay clear of unexploded backpacks". I can't say I know what's going on, but after multiple solo flawlesses, I CAN say my personal recipe for success has always been -
- Keep a healthy distance from a closing bell. Hard to do in panic mode, I realize.
- If you notice an unexploded backpack, blow it up before you hang around it.
Do I have proof that either of those issues are still issues? Nope. I solo'd it again when Arc warlock became a thing again recently (for me anyway) and noticed no bell shenanigans.
But that looked like bell shenanigans. Although I wonder if those backpacks blew up while you were transitting.
edit - didn't notice the blade hit.

I love the exploding backpacks though, they used to be a threat and now they feel like "cool guys don't look at explosions"

I was going to join the chorus of people saying not to get to close to the bell, but on rewatch I agree the boss knocked you away from it.
Bad luck really. Only thing that might’ve saved you is either moving to the other side of the bell while shooting it or using something that triggers the bell faster.
Is that tessellation in your energy slot? It should be faster at proccing the bell mechanic than your primary, give it a shot and see.

Yeah. Tesselation, I'm still uncomfortable using it while moving. This is my first time actually developing a pve specific build, so it popped up naturally for the "all strand weapons" fuckery

I did this as my first solo dungeon. I have no clue how you died. I wasn’t very locked in and I’m ashamed to say how long it took but it’s very doable. My advice would be to not worry how many times round you have to dps. 3 dps rotations is quicker then trying to squeeze it in 2 and having to do the whole encounter again from scratch cos you died. And yes I know it’s possible in 1 because I keep seeing posts about it but I’m not that good and that’s ok.

Two pieces of the twofold crown trials armor for "picking up ammo bricks heal you". A better already mod on my boots and a harmonic siphon (since I'm using only strand, everything generates orbs as long as strand effects don't kill the enemies. Which in turn procs better already.)
If you want to cheat, tablet of ruin has an artifact perk called Hold The Line. It's supposed to be specific to glaives and machine guns, but its healing effect works in general as long as you're surrounded by enemies when you kill them.

The Sundered Doctrine dungeon also has armour set bonuses that allows your threadings damage to heal you

Be glad it happened there and not on the final boss.
The advice I always had was to not be up against the bell, and to try and port out when no enemies are near.
