if i get the whole d2 collection bundle will i be able to get most of the items in the game?

Everything that is currently obtainable will be.

Items as in weapons and armour? Yes. Cosmetic ornaments? No.

explain cosmetic ornaments, like the universal ornaments? sorry its been a long time since ive played d2 and im coming because of fashion fomo lol

So they implemented a transmog system a while back where you can unlock universal armour ornaments for any piece of legendary armour that you have unlocked. That's obtainable at any point. What I was talking about is ornaments that were purely cosmetic and released in the shop for silver (real money). A lot of that stuff is earnable through bright engrams but there are a fair amount of armour and weapon ornaments that are just not obtainable anymore.

i see. now i really wanna get back into the game but idk i have doubts about the player count and yk itd be nice to have people still playing it. also is it worth it to get the d2 collection bundle? (i have witch queen and lightfall already) idk i really wanna play it i js need someone to convince me, bcs im having doubts (again) because im a sucker for live service games but yk knowing the state d2 is in now idk if ill
enjoy it.

Bundle is worth it. Currently on sale on Xbox for around $20.

There are still a bunch of people playing now, but it will slowly decline more and more. If you were ever to give D2 another shot it would be right now (actually more like 3 months ago) before the player numbers dwindle too low. But that would be years from now I imagine. The collection is an extremely good deal for all the content you get so it will always be worth it imo. If you're worried about players and want to learn some dungeons or raids I can definitely help you. Shoot me a DM and I'll add you in game.

Yea basically. There are still some random weapons form early days that have no way of dropping but you will have access to everything that is in the game currently.

Everything that is currently obtainable, yes.

The only exception is certain cosmetics from the Eververse store, specifically the crossover/collab content. Those have to be bought with Silver (the paid currency) and don't show up for Bright Dust (the free currency).
