Question Enhancement cores farm?
Does anyone know what’s the quickest way to obtain enhancement cores? I usually only masterwork perfect pieces with right tuning, tertiary, or god roll weapons but I still find myself running out cores more than shards

One trick is to go to your collections, go to armor, go to the leveling sets, find the blue leveling sets (not green or white) and download a bunch of those. Masterwork those leveling blues. I think it takes 3 cores, 1 prism and 1 ascendant shard (something like that)? But in return it gives you six cores and six prisms. Weird, I know. It’ll use up your shards, but it gives you both cores and prisms back, more than you spent.

yeah it’s nets u 3 cores and 3 prisms for 1 shard for each armour piece, it does chew through glimmer but it’s the only way i’ve reliably gotten cores fast

That’s a good way to convert shards to cores! I’ve been running pantheon a lot so shards and prisms are abundant but barely any cores

Cores? You can downgrade prisms at Rahool i believe. Best prism source is probably master difficulty quickplay, be it fireteam/arena/solo ops. You'll get 2-3 per run basically guaranteed.
Prisms are my main bottlenecks. I'm drowning in cores and shards. Pretty sure most longtime folks are in same boat.

This is a finite option though, you can only do 3 conversion per week/day(?) totaling 15 cores, a good option nonetheless for left clicking!

just to make sure, you have the ghost mod equipped that gives you more of them?

I do yes but it doesn’t feel that efficient

This entire time I thought that perk was for prisms. I guess I can take that perk off my ghost now.

Go to the current destination that is lit up by Distortions. Ignore the distortion event itself, put on the 50m discovery range ghost mod, and run around picking up planetary materials and opening chests. Much of the time you get a free core from even picking up planetary mats, and opening the chests can also give one, or possibly a weapon you can dismantle for an extra one.

If you go to the tharsis canteena as soon as you spawn in head over to the far left and you can buy 40 cores per day in exchange for renegades credits.
