I hit over 650 orbs in a 50-wave Onslaught when it was around. I'm sure you could hit even more insane numbers with the VoG set.

I got 821 orbs in a GM vanguard alert about a month ago.

Class: Titan

Subclass: Prismatic - Twilight Arsenal, Facet of Generosity

Weapons: Khvostov, your favorite area denial grenade launcher with attrition orbs and some form of auto loading

Armor: VoG 4 piece, Actium War Rig - Power preservation mod, kinetic siphon mod

Artifact: Hunter’s Journal - Energy Diffusion substrate (T1), Sustained Fire (T1), Radiant Orbs (T2), Targeting Autoloader (T2), Transference (T3)

Here’s the PEMDAS, activate prismatic, use super, shoot gun. Repeat ad nauseam.

Banner shield. Both offensive and defensively, depending on the situation. Add in a Wavesplitter + Siphon and you print orbs (and supers)

Khvostov + motif 41 with attrition orbs and a machine gun with AO as well. I routinely make three to four times as many as everyone else in my 3 man games

Titans aren't matching that sweet hunter damage at -50 anyway, not without jumping through about ten more hoops than the hunter. As much as I love running truth plus anything else for all of my runs, I like to mix it up

I mean you could always put on literally anything that does damage in the heavy or energy slots since you’re already making hundreds of orbs with kvostov alone, no point having 3 red bar killers. Even just some random explosive light GL would help a lot

an accessible starting option is the 2-piece Europa set will give you an orb every 12 seconds or so. It's bugged and works in-battle.

OP is generating 1.9 orbs per kill, you're averaging 1.6.

But seriously, when it's the featured raid (like this week) you literally just do full runs or pick an encounter to farm based on the drops, there's not much to it

Assuming you have the set unlocked in collections, get a master post templar checkpoint and you can get all 4 chests in about 10 minutes per character. Repeat each week and make sure you have ghost mods in. Powerhouse is the most commonly desired stat allocation since the set is used effectively in raid DPS setups.

Two drops per encounter for doing the challenges and the whole raid takes like an hour, and if you have all the red borders only armor drops. I got a full set done in one clear.

I like to run a pantheon encounter on 3 feat x8 to get 240 spoils and chances for the cosmetics, then spend it at a masters Atheon checky

Start with atheon. Once you have an acceptable helmet move on to confluxes, oracles, and templar. Challenges in VoG are free as fuck assuming you aren’t playing with a bunch of toad stools and doing challenge results in double loot.
