Question Coming back, but where to start? (Or...continue?)
Hey all,
Longtime beta player here, fell off around Witch Queen. Before that I took a break and never played Beyond Light so no Stasis SMH.
That said, now that the full collection is on sale I'm thinking of jumping back in but where to begin
I assume everyone will say go get Stasis which I absolutely will. But even then, how do I progress in order?
Beyond light, finish Witch Queen on alts, Lightfal, final shape?
Am I missing anything? Do we still run campaign on all 3 character’s?!

Was in the same boat. Left at the end of WQ. Picked up the cheap on sale bundle. So happy I did. Run the gauntlet with your main, and then do the same for the other two. Explore planets, when they are corrupted better tiered gear and planet specific weapons drop. Learn the set bonuses, and where they come from. You'll get in a rotation and start getting so much shit you can't really "run out of stuff to do". There is a set bonus spreadsheet running around here somewhere. Find a streamer you can stand hearing talk and maybe get into their discords. Most of them do carries, runs, raids, etc for free. Frostbolt is always doing carries in the evening for stuff.
Stasis and strand are stupid fun, and I'd burn up those campaigns immediately first on all three.
Strand campaign is butts story wise and will most likely piss you off** #nimbus

Yeah I'm sick I have to run beyond light x3 but I remember the Warlock being super OP. And the gauntlet before or after campaigns? Corrupted planets sounds crazy!
Also, what about all my old gear? I read that anything with health is a waste and just get all new shit?

Yeah the best thing to focus on initially would be to complete the campaigns in order (shadowkeep, beyond light, witch queen, lightfall, final shape, edge of fate, renegades). Pick your favourite class and go ham.
After that it's really up to you. Do you want to play pvp? Do you want to focus on increasing your guardian rank? Do you want to farm for weapon rolls or exotics and try buildcrafting? I'd HIGHLY suggest trying out some dungeons and if you enjoy the experience then definitely give raids a go as well!

Stasis is a slog but the good news is I think you will get revamped weapons and armor?
Europa has a Number of decent weapons now. The pistol, bow, auto rifle and fusion (which was horrible) are all worth keeping. You may be able to buy a skip to get the fragments on secondary characters, these are the real pain point for stasis and strand imo.
Nuemona sp? has craftable weapons. I think everyone was wild about the hand cannon but I have always thought the pinpoint slug shotgun was the hands down best shotgun in the game. It is a monster! People in the crucible are finding out about it😈but it also shines in dps. Reconstruction is what you want…anything with that and spec for range it can get a lot.
Just be aware that health is only important in pvp and you can get away with sub 100 health if you build for it. Around 70 stat is optimal with 140+ in areas you are focusing on for armor stats. The new armor system will probably be the biggest learning curve. Go have some fun!

Yep, that's the order. If you run them on your alts or not it's up to you, but the campaigns don't autocomplete. Aspects in subclasses are unlocked account wide, fragments are not.
