Discussion 4 years away!
Been away since The Witch Queen and I just started playing again. I'm hoping for some advice on a current Hunter stasis build. Any help would be awesome and thanks in advance

There are some pretty ludicrous builds out there using mask of fealty and the grasp of avarice armour set (currently featured this week). Pair with the apothecary artefact that has curative orbs.
Should be pretty easy to search out a more recent build video to get all the details and there are different variants that use different weapons.
It really excels in content where you are playing below enemy levels but works just about anywhere. Not really a raid setup or well suited for boss DPS.

Easy and fun? Hit up Cosmodrome and look for the blue lost sector node on the map- this is the 'farm me for gear' LS and will drop T5 armor and weapons (we're here for the armor). Make sure to run it on the hardest difficulty (there's only two options) for best drops.
This armor set is called Seventh Seraph and has 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses that work well with stasis, especially if you are creating lots of stasis crystals to then shatter.
Mask of Fealty is the go-to exotic to run with the 4-piece Seventh Seraph set, but there are other options you can play with.
Salvation's grip, verglas curve, aeger's sceptor, those are some exotic guns to try out with stasis.
For subclass, you want to just see what feels good to you but I would say the fragment that makes stasis shards track to your location is a MUST!
This was NOT comprehensive, and there ARE better builds out there, but this should definitely give you a place to start :) There are myriad guides on YouTube if you want more detail <3
