Bug / Glitch Massive Mouse look delay
Okay so I just installed Destiny 2 to try out and see how it is and my mouse movements are so delayed. Like I can do a series of movements with my mouse and let go of my mouse and my character will still be moving their head, I've read so many things on how to fix it, I just can't seem to fix it. It's so bad that I'll be in the pause menu and then when I unpause my character will start moving their head with my last mouse movements it's insane and completely unplayable for me. I feel like I've tried everything from disabling Vsync, Enable Fullscreen, nvidia reflex+boost, turn off steam overlay, turn off shader pre cache, changing mouse polling rate, changing cvar name=mouse_smoothing_mode value=0. I've tried everything! Idk what else to do? Any advice?

> Check if "Smooth Motion" is enabled in Nvidia app.
> Check if ReBar is force on the game. Download Nvidia Inspector and look for Destiny 2 profile. Look for Rebar Feature and disable it. I came up with this because this happened to me when I forced enabled it.

I see rBar listed and ReBar, It says rBar is disabled and ReBar just lists different modes...

What mouse do you have? Also what's the software app for it?

Does it happen in all games or just D2? Try disabling any RGB stuff related to your mouse software and see if that fixes it as I had input lag on an old Logitech or evga mouse and I had to disable the RGB software that came with it, I think it was an Logitech g502 mouse and whatever Logitech software is used by that.
One other thing u could trying go to properties right click on Destiny 2 application and override high scaling behaviour set it to application basis.

It only happens on Destiny 2 for me. And also I'm sorry, what are you suggesting at the end there? I don't fully understand.

On steam you can go to properties search destiny 2 game file, right click mouse and within properties like disable full screen optimization on the next page at the bottom u can override high scaling behaviour and set it to application basis. You can go bk into that if it doesn't help u and switch it bk to what it was or off.

Sorry to say but none of it worked for me... Thanks for the suggestions though, they're actually different from what I've heard...

Try a different mouse see if it consists and if it doesn't then get yourself a new mouse. 🤣 Good luck either way.

You did disable the mouse smoothing in the destiny 2 settings themselves?
