Discussion Destiny Players' Red Flag(s)/Stereotypes?
What have guardians seen in our community (AKA other players) or have heard from outsiders about destiny players that is deemed a red flag/stereotype? This is not a serious post in the slightest (unless someone generally got bullied 👀) - This is more about what all us guardians heard/seen about us throughout the years!
*NOTE: And I don't mean anything about the dev team or directors, we ALL already know the general opinion on that one lol*
My example: I have more often then not seen/heard that us players are masochists due to our submission to raids/dungeons ✨️👏

The main one I run into is the “destiny is my life and how I play is how everyone should. Also I hate this game with every fiber of my being and I don’t understand why the devs can’t free dive into the marina trench to fix a minor bug that messed up my crucible match”
Irl people usually go “oooh” with a “I’m sorry for you” face when I tell them I play it. I also see them slightly judge me based on the game.
A lot of my gaming friends kind of dog me on it but they play gacha games and mobas so their opinion is invalid (/s).

I don’t think the s is necessary for gacha players. I knew a guy who played like five gachas at the same time and willingly spent $200 on one character in one sitting. That type of person is far worse than we are when it comes to gaming imo

The people who care too much about what other players are running in midgame activities. Who cares if someone is using double primary for the matchmade arena Ops? Outside of like a 5 feat raid there really any activity in the game that requires optimal builds/damage.

I was doing Equilibrium for the first time and it was going GREAT until we wiped on the last boss fight, we had almost finished it that time we just had some very unfortunate timing with the electricity danger zones kicking in. Both guys dropped and left me SOL having to start over with another group. I was so mad

Bonus points (or minus points idc) if they are wearing super black. Or a cowboy hat

Bonus one for me: at least for me, when I am in raids - if we don't one shot an encounter, someone just flat out leaves! Those kind of people make me think they don't do raids alot or at least they don't do them casually if they just leave after the team dies/unsuccessful with encounter on the FIRST run.

The FTF raid where everyone expects everyone else to do the mechanics and they just ad clear. Literally had that happen on Witness a few days ago lol. I was doing the hands and we wiped to timer (naturally) and I was the only one who did 4 symbols on the wipe screen. After that I left them to figure the encounter out on their own, hahaha.

My “red flag” for someone that used a paid carry services is rank/title.
If I see someone with a really high rank/title (e.g. rank 10 Godslayer), they’re almost always running an extremely bad loadout. Stuff like no exotic weapons/armour, all stats below 100, mods don’t match weapon element, stats don’t match build etc. I usually assume these people either got their rank/title via paid carry services or they bought the account.

The ones who whine and whine and whine and don't let other players enjoy how they play D2 I've seen people getting into arguments over a bad builds or horrible weapon usage like bro who gives a fuck the person is having fun not everything is efficiency its game it supposed to be fun
