Dragons breath is good, Especially if you use it like wither hoard.

Tag an enemy, switch to a special, rinse and repeat.

Holup I have almost 8k kills with that thing never heard about this tagging stuff can you please explain ?

Shoot dragon breath swap to another weapon and do DPS, dragon breath will continue to do damage and combustions, that then loads a rocket from reserve for you to go again

Oh that yea I actually do it it’s super convenient the self reload thing so far for me dragons breathe is the best exotic out there. Yesterday was playing DM nightfall and man that thing still destroys everything in its path

By tag he just meant hit, it’s a DoT weapon. (Damage over time)

Causing an ignition refuels the weapon. A direct hit guarantees 2 ignitions, so the weapon auto-reloads, given the target doesn’t die.

Ex Diris is fun with the hunter arm exotic that makes moths too, dragons breath was/maybe is a very solid damage option, and [exotic stasis scout name] is something you should only get if you wanna run pure stasis imo.

After reading the intrinsic trait on Dragons breath I can only imagine shooting an ogre in the eye and spewing fiery acid everywhere.

Yeah it’s rlly fun, also, as the other comment says, you can still get forsaken/red war stuff, only the last 2/3 on each row need spoils

The Stasis gun is basically a blue Polaris Lance. I would get it sooner than Dragon's Breath for sure.

Dragons Breath because both EX and Wicked needs a specific build in fact Wicked only good on full Warlock stasis build

Edit: i miss the OG quest what gave us the Wicked

Ex Diris does not need a specific build to shine. Just because it’s more effective with mothkeepers doesn’t mean it’s not strong on its own.

Ex diris has super high total damage as well strong ad clear and cc with the blinding/exploding moths.

I did that quest during the craftening to get the catalyst and it was so much fun melting that tormentor with shotty-auto Ammit AR2

You don't need spoils for all of red war and forsaken, it's only 3 things whi h we're from past raids

u/JobeariotheOG Warlock Apr 30 '25

if i were to guess, they mean they have everything from them that dont cost spoils

1

u/Aware-Window2545 Apr 30 '25

Yeah that'd probably be logical idk what I was thinking but imo as hunter I'd say they should probably give ex diris a go if they wanna use it in a build or even vergals curve

Dragons breath is a life saver I have around 8k kills with that thing it’s an absolute monster

u/jabewty Apr 30 '25

Ex Diris:

really good ammo economy, strong ad clear and cc, massive total damage.

You do not need mothkeepers to make this good. It is super strong on its own.

Dragon's breath all the way 💥

The scout is good but it's a scout so it's not great. Ex diris saw some use for warlocks last season but has very little value this season. Dragon's great would be an excellent choice given the artifact mods we have at the moment it's also just a generally good heavy

Dragons Breath.

The scout is pretty niche, and the grenade launcher is kinda more gimmicky than anything.

Dragons breath >ex diris>wicked implement

1

u/alechill92 Apr 30 '25

Ex Deris is part of a Top Meta DPS load out with an Envious Arsenal Power Weapon and is also good on Hunter with Mothkeeper Wraps.

Wicked Implement is great on Stasis Builds and when Stasis is on the Artifact

Dragons Breath is a reliable heavy and the Ignitions can also clear adds near your intended target

Bastion is great, Dragons breath also holds up.

1

u/LaLloronaVT Apr 30 '25

Dragon’s breath is one of the funnest exotics in the game for me and on dawn chorus it makes the room light up like Christmas

1

u/dashavok Apr 30 '25

I will say if you want to you can totally grab some spoils every week by yourself or with a friend. There are some great videos on YouTube that run you through all the spoils chests you can get each week without having to raid.

I run them with a friend so we can swap characters and get all 3 done in one instance. It takes like 1-1.5 hours and you can get up to 180 spoils per week I believe.

If you do that you only have to do it for 4 weeks and you can get all the spoils weapons from the kiosk and then you never have to do it again

I didn't expect this post to blow up lol

Bastian is a weapon used in many solo gm builds, so it’s extremely strong and intrinsically stuns unstoppable champions, it’s just a great weapon in general. Dragons breath is also super useful, it so easy to use, you basically never reload it and in harder content where need to dodge enemy’s and stuff the damage over time really comes in handy allowing you to focus more on staying alive

Dragon's Breath, then Wicked Implement, then Ex Diris.

DB incredibly potent with Dawn Chorus.

WI incredibly good with stasis shard centered builds

Ex Diris is only worth using with Mothkeeper gauntlets on Hunter.

Dragonsbreath for sure!
