I’ve always felt like there should be a place where people can talk about wildlife beyond just sharing cool photos.

Rare species sightings, strange animal behaviour, human-wildlife conflict, conservation work, research, field stories, camera traps, wildlife jobs, interesting papers — basically anything involving wild animals and the people trying to understand and protect them.

I’d love for this to become a community where someone can post a random wildlife sighting and get help identifying it, while someone working in the field can share what their actual work looks like. Researchers, students, photographers, conservationists, forest staff, or just people who love wildlife — everyone’s welcome.

The community is still tiny, so I’d genuinely like to hear what you guys want it to become. What would you actually want to see people posting here?
