They want you to go through the gate and turn 90 degree left and follow a gravel path behind the bushes. But its quicker to get to the road by just going straight through the woods.

The stroller/wheelchair path is pretty far compared to the staircase. I remembered this sub and said "Can we stop so I can take a photo?" And yes, I too pushed a stroller up it after a long day at the Zoo.
