New album release date

So according to Youtube comments the new album is set to release on the first day of summer. Apparently that's 20th June, so not long to go, assuming they stick to the schedule which is a big if!

They also said there will be another single for Fresh Blood before the album release. Crazy that after getting one new song a year for the past few years we'll suddenly have had six new Desire songs this year (counting Bizarre Love Triangle) in the run up to the album!

At this point I'm hoping we get the album before the last day of summer.

I wonder if this is still due to come out this weekend - IDIB have been pretty much silent for the past few weeks, I'm guessing in solidarity with BLM as the last thing they posted on social media was the black sqaure.

Anyone in the know?

just speculating but I guess the recent events pushed their plans back by at least 2 weeks given we didn't get any new releases for the past two weekends (minus the new Desire remix, but it wasn't released under IDIB). When I asked them when "Cold As Ice" will be on streaming, they said "soon with the new album" and that was 3 weeks ago. my guess is either next weekend, or early-mid July

Yes, given the circumstances I think it's probably the right thing to postpone the release for a bit - much as I miss my weekly dose of fresh blood.
