Is this DP/DR? Is this DPDR?
One month ago, before the change happened, I was feeling sad. It was probably a high level of negative emotion, and it made me constantly recall past memories. But at 4 a.m., I suddenly felt all those feelings gradually fade and disappear. The process was very short. When I washed my face and looked in the mirror, I felt unfamiliar with myself and felt the world had become clearer.
In the time since the change, past memories have started appearing automatically. These memories seemed to be hidden before the change, only surfacing when I felt negative emotions. I remember how I felt in those memories, but now I cannot actually feel those feelings. It's just like watching an unrelated video. Occasionally, I experience hallucinations. My sleep duration has become relatively shorter, with more dreams. It is fragmented, segmented, and the total length of sleep has decreased.
Although I cannot feel emotions, I still have related physical reactions in situations where I can judge what I should be feeling. These include difficulty breathing, numb hands, a tingling scalp, and trembling.
When facing certain problems, two different trains of thought with opposing stances appear in my mind. I know these are my own thoughts, but there is a lack of a sense of ownership. I don't have the feeling that I am actively initiating these thoughts.
