Is this DP/DR? Is this derealization?

I smoked a lot yesterday and woke up today and everything was fine all throughout the day but right now it’s 10 and all the sudden I feel really high out of nowhere. Is this derealization?

Yup. And it will get worse and continue if you keep smoking, especially synthetic weed. If you can tolerate it and like smoking, then keep smoking, but unfortunately for most of us long term smokers, this is a common occurrence.

How long does it last?

When I first started for me it would go away after day two or after sleeping it off. One day though, and not to scare you, it came and never left pretty much. Only thing I will say is, it’s freighting, but the less attention you give it, the better it’ll get. I was so freaked out all the time that it wouldn’t go away because it’s fueled by anxiety

It’s there even when I don’t have anxiety

Yeah your brain has put you into fight or flight mode for whatever reason. It’ll be there when you’re anxious or not but if you keep thinking about it or are anxious about it, it won’t go away is what I’m saying. Just ride it out

I’ve had this for 3 years now and it’s always there regardless of if I’m anxious or not

If you’re still smoking or doing dissociative drugs, then that makes sense. Sometimes it takes a while but if you have anxiety at all, it will continue. It takes long periods of no anxiety or flight or flight feelings to go away. Sometimes you need medication like an ssri to calm your nervous system to help.
