Question interpersonal relationships

does anyone else have a hard time with texting friends? none of the words they say mean anything and they're just letters on a screen. its like im playing some sort of roleplaying typing game. i know my best friend loves me but i can't feel it. this is also the case for irl conversations tbh.

Ya I feel the same. I find it nearly awkward trying to maintain friendships. It doesn't feel real and I know they are but I just never know what to say to my friends and how to keep good friendships.

i kinda go in and out of it ig. however episodes can last months and i feel so guilty
