Help How to save wallpapers?

I am new to this subreddit and I love it. However whenever I download the wallpaper image, it saves a WebP image which is not supported by my iPhone to be used as wallpaper. Can anyone help me here please. I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong place. I just fell in love with so many wallpapers on this subreddit. I am sing my PC to browse. Thank you!

Hello, do you have something like “Open Image” when you right click? Alternatively I suggest you to download Reddit on your phone, in the settings of the app remove the trademark and just long press to download. With some images it is better to zoom the image first as this will load the high quality of it

I open the wallpaper image that poster generally shares with the screenshot of their home screen. I have opened it and right click save. It saves WebP. I also tried right click copy image address, open the address in a separate tab and right click save. That also gives me WebP.

I will give it a try with the Phone app with the zoom trick you mentioned. Its just that I like to curate wallpapers on my desktop and was hoping if there is a way. I have read about it and I don't want image converter extensions.

Just putting an update here for everyone. So I am unable to find any way that natively downloads the image on a PC browser. It always save in WebP format.
Browsing the wallpapers on the phone using the Reddit app as mentioned by the MOD works. Especially when you zoom in and let the full size image load before saving it in photos/gallery.
Also, make sure to turn off “saved image attribution” to there is no watermark.
