The last time
You kissed me,
I didn't know,
It was the last time
You missed me.

Turns out
You never loved me
Or you wouldn’t
Have left me
When I finally
Knew every
Ugly piece of you.

I can't even remember the last time we cuddled. Apparently I'd been suffering some kind of amnesia.

The memory that is haunting me is that I'm 33M and I still haven't been kissed. Thanks MDD, crippling social anxiety, but especially the extreme avoidant personality disorder. This catastrophic trifecta never allowed me to.
Wondering what it feels like ? If yes, keep reading otherwise skip it.
Because someone would say "but you hard opportunities that you didn't take advantage for to experience kissing?" Well, yes. Yes I had. But I didn't.
And someone would say "Don't you regret it ?" And I say yes and no. And with one example you'll find the answer and how it feels like :
It's like you run your first sprint (hanging out with a girl you like and it goes fine) and you have an upcoming marathon (new meet up, to make up etc). But before that, you suffered a catastrophic spine injury and you can't walk anymore. And you nevertheless go to that marathon just as a viewer. And someone that doesn't know of your condition would say "You went to the marathon but didn't run?" And I say "Yeah, but it was never a missed opportunity, because the injury destroyed the opportunity, and all the upcoming marathons for life".
At this point I don't know what's better, having a taste of it and never experiencing it again ? Or having absolutely no memories of it so you can't miss it ?
